What counts as a character?
Any visible character in your note text, excluding markup. Counting happens after SSML cleanup, consistent with monthly quota rules.
Which languages are supported?
MultilingualNeural voices support automatic detection for 71 languages. With explicit language codes, we support 91 languages including English, Polish, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, and many more.
Which voices are available?
Over 50 MultilingualNeural voices from Azure AI Speech, including Ava, Emma, Andrew, Brian, and specialized TurboMultilingual voices. All are studio-quality neural voices that sound natural and professional.
How fast is the generation?
Streaming starts in seconds; for typical notes (~3k characters) playback begins under 2 seconds. Longer notes are automatically split into chunks for smooth playback.
Does it work offline?
Yes. MP3 files are saved to Audio/ in your vault. Pressing Play uses the local file to save tokens. Use Restart to regenerate, or "Download audio (no playback)" command to pre-generate files for later.
Is streaming supported on mobile?
Yes. Mobile is optimized; when MediaSource isn’t available (e.g., iOS constraints), AudioVault falls back to buffered playback automatically.
What happens if I exceed my quota?
You'll see a clear message and be redirected to upgrade through Stripe Customer Portal. Usage resets monthly on your billing date.
Do you store my notes?
No. Content is processed in real‑time and not stored on servers. We keep only minimal technical metadata.
Devices per plan?
Free: up to 2 devices. Basic/Pro: unlimited.
Can I merge parts into a single MP3?
Yes, for the default MP3 format the plugin can merge chunks into one file and link it in your note.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Use the Stripe Customer Portal to cancel, upgrade, or downgrade plans.
